The holiday season is almost upon us and we've got some exciting adventures planned for you all! We're always listening carefully to the feedback our wonderful community gives us, and have heard you loud and clear. Flower Crown Eevee will soon be leaving your weekly research encounters and will not be returning for the foreseeable future! New and even more exciting research encounters are on their way!

To celebrate this year's holiday season in style, we've got a number of fun events planned for you all! From November 2nd at 1:00 P.M. PDT to December 28th at 1:00 P.M. PDT, Pikachu discovered in the wild may be found wearing a brand new holiday outfit! That's right Trainers, this year's Holiday Pikachu will be sporting a beautiful purple Santa hat!

Pikachu will be joined this year by several of his friends also wearing cute and fun holiday outfits. If you're extremely lucky you may encounter Snover in a Santa hat, Abomisnow in a Santa hat or even Stantler in a Santa hat!. Pikachu and his hat loving friends will also be hatched in increased numbers from 2k, 5k and 10k eggs. Pichu will be hatching exclusively from 7k eggs wearing a tiny and super cute version of the purple Santa hat! While Raichu, also sporting a super cute purple Santa hat, will be appearing as a Level 5 Raid boss alongside Regice in a red Santa Hat and mistletoe bow tie!

Research Breakthrough Updates

We're thrilled to announce that a new weekly Research Breakthrough will be available!

• From November 2nd at 1:00 P.M. PDT to December 28th at 1:00 P.M. PDT, Eevee wearing a delightful holiday themed flower crown will be exclusively available as Research Breakthrough encounters
• If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny Eevee with a holiday flower crown!

Eevee wearing holiday flower crowns will be the exclusive Pokémon appearing in Research Breakthroughs during this time. Don’t miss your chance to evolve them into all the available Eevee Evolutions in Pokémon GO!

Stay tuned for even more exciting news over the coming weeks, including Wurmple in a Party Hat month, Pikachu in a Top Hat month, and Bidoof in a Beaver Hat Month!!!
